Past      Present

These views are of the Evert House hotel. The core of the structure was a house built by Joseph Bennett Shultz.
Shultz built it in 1853. It was the first house in the town originally known as Medary Ville.
It was remodeled into a hotel by Michael Tetzloff around 1880, and known as the Evert House.
Later remodelings were done in 1901 by Henry Madaus, and in 2004 (ongoing) by Jim Martin.
